Notes from Ruth's Kitchen

The first part of this zine is a comic about food and family and pandemic, written while Ruth was dying of cancer. The comic was published in Jewish currents in 2020.
The second part of this zine is 36 of Ruth's recipes - from Jewish holiday classics to bizarre newspaper clippings of the 70's, it includes some of Ruth's original mimeographs and some recipes typed and illustrated. I swear, the potato knish recipe is the best I've ever had.
Each zine is printed and hand stitched by me, with a vellum cover. The color of the inside pages varies between copies.
